Duplicate your theme before editing any code. In your Shopify admin go to Online Store, Themes, open the actions menu on Pawora and choose Duplicate. Edit the copy so you can always return to the original.
Navigation and the pet switch
Pawora's header can include a switch labeled Shopping for. When a visitor picks Dogs, Cats or All, the navigation changes to a menu you assigned to that choice. Their choice is remembered the next time they visit.
Set it up
- In Online Store, Navigation, create one menu per pet type, for example Dog menu and Cat menu. Your existing main menu works for All.
- In the editor, select the Header section.
- Under Main menu, choose the menu for the All option.
- Add a Pet block for each pet type. Enter a label such as Dogs and choose its menu.
- Change the switch heading and the label of the All option if you want different wording.
If you do not add any Pet blocks, the header shows a single menu and no switch.
Dropdowns and mega menu
Menus with up to three levels are supported. Top-level items with children open a dropdown, and menus with a third level open a larger mega menu. You can add an image to the mega menu in the Header settings.
Sticky header
Choose whether the header stays visible always, only when scrolling up, or never.
Without JavaScript
If a visitor's browser has JavaScript disabled, the header shows the All menu.
